Hi Jan,
Strange I did not get an email notification of your reply to my last post, just happened to see it as I'm posting this new one. My question is about the "show last messages" module feature request. Is this feature going to be implemented? If so, do you know approximately when and what your plans are for it?

You see, I am going to be using the guestbook for customer testimonials and would like to be able to show a random testimonial (not necessarily the newest one) in a module position on each page of my site. In my opinion, the phoca guestbook module should act just like the core Joomla Newsflash module letting us control the number of characters (because we won't want to have a 1000 character guestbook entry showing up in a small column module)

The person working on my website said he thinks he can accomplish the same thing using JUMI by querying the table that holds the entries. But I told him to hold off on that until I hear what, if any, your plans for the module are..

Thanks,
Mike

Hi, this module should be not difficult to create but the problem is my time :( see all the extensions I have made, see all the user manuals I have written (And I don't speak English, so it is very lengthy), see all the topics I have answered) ... so my wish is to create such module but don't know when I will be able to do this... :-(

BTW question about development of this module ... there are no links which are linked directly to the messages, so the list of latest post can be solved this way:

a) all items will have the same link (link to phoca guestbook)
b) there will be no links but only list of items

Will be such mudule still interesting?

Hi Jan, well I found something that will work perfectly for what I need, it's called Rquotes. I know you don't have any time to work on these things. You respond faster on your forum for support for your free extensions than most developers do for their commercial extensions, so I'm very grateful!!
