New pictures at startup no longer displayed. just a white background. joomla 1.5

Looks like the thumbnails did not get created. You might try deleting the pictures and uploading them again.

Components / Control Panel Phoca Gallery / Options / vybrvat "Options creation of sketches," and put in puntkte "Enable creation of thumbnail" YES

Ok
