Random Images from specific category not often displayed

I have 10'000 images organized inside 4 main category and many others sub-category. 95% of my images are organized inside 3 main category and only 5% in the last one.
I configured the module for display (in horizontal mode with 6 image max) randomly all images from all category and sub-category but is very rare to see images coming from the last one (where I have 5% of images). Of course if the number of images is lesser for that category is probably normal...
However how can I do for be sure at least one image coming from this category can be displayed each time?
Any tricks or suggestions please?

you need somehow customize the sql query and load e.g. one image from selected category and then random images from other categories
