hi,

i've installed phoca gallery on a joomla 1.6 site, but when i create a category i've an error : category must have a title...but i write a title !!

what is the problem?!

Also having that issue, even though I write the category title, still comes back saying the field is required.

Edit: I solved this issue, it is caused by the Phoco gallery tables not installing into the mySQL DB.

I tried this fix, install the tables manually through myPHPAdmin and it works - no further error about requiring the category field (unless it is actually not filled in). Use the "import" command in phpMyAdmin or similar; select the install.bak.sql file in the Zip folder of the component download (you will have to un-zip it first to your local HDD).

J1.6 installed Phocagallery 3.0.0 rc5. In the main menu items created the site category of "albums" and in it four sub-category "by city" (an organization in different cities) - Type: "Phoca Gallery» View Images (View Categories) "- category name = city. Objective: to allow users (authors) to create their own categories in their sub-categories ..... Is this possible at all??
Ato my admin panel will then create the most "folders" and pictures sorted by sub-sub categories of ...... jmage
