Well, the Joomla install process says it was installed but it doesn't work.

Joomla 1.5.2
Phoca Guestbook 1.3 beta

I installed the component and defined a guestbook. But when I try to go to the gb from the menu, I get a 404 error.

I can't figure what I'm doing wrong. I've set all the parameters

Can somebody help?

As a matter of fact, I did. But I've just discovered something after realizing that a number of previously working components and modules had stopped working. I turned off the SEF option and things started working again.

Including, I'm glad to say, Phoca Gallery. Now I just need to figure out how to configure that, but that's a topic for another forum.

I'v been in this business for a number of years, but with only about 2 weeks experience using Joomla, I feel like a rookie again.

... sef is a big problem in joomla
