Firstly, thanks for a fantastic component!
Is it possible to change the layout of the main Category List View so that the Category name is positioned above or below the thumbnail?
Thanks,
Geoff

My client has a page to display Videos (one category, several videos) & Photos (several categories). So that the page appears like:
VIDEOS (one category)
[video thumb 1] [video thumb 2 [video thumb 3]
PHOTOS (multiple categories)
[photo cat 1] []photo cat 2] [photo cat 3] [photo cat 4]
[photo cat 5] []photo cat 6] [photo cat 7] [photo cat 8]
Is this possible? If so how? Do I need to use Modules or can I do this with a component menu item page?
Please help if you can? This is taking me a long time experimenting......
Thanks,
Geoff

Thanks Jan, at least I know.
Any ideas if there is a Phoca module I can use that might achieve this?

Geoff

Hi Jan,
Thinking about this further, I think all that is required is a check-box option to insert a separator after a category.
If set to on, then the current row of thumbnails is ended and and the subsequent thumbnail begins a new row, after a hr break or better (<div class="phoca_separator"></div>
Would this be difficult to implement?
Cheers,
Geoff

Hi, the database query is important, you need to get the data from database, you can sort it in the query - to sort first videos and then images, but both need own foreach - they cannot be combined each other.
You first need to load the e.g. videos e.g. to some variable and then images to other variables and then you need to run foreach for both, if you add some html depends on you, but this is the last thing, the easiest thing
