[solved] more than paragraph in a post

hi,
I wonder whether it is possible to have more than one paragraph in a post. I tried to write text in three languages. and gave each language its own section. however, when saving, the linebreaking command are removed. the html purging I have already deselected. is there anything to change in order to enable different paragraphs?

edit after solving: The problem went away with a new install of the actual Phoca guestbook version!
