Hi, does anyone know if there is any way to show the image description with the switch (swap) image option. I need the description to show underneath the main image when I click on the thumbnail (I have modified it so you have to click on the thumbnail for the image to swap, rather than just hover over it). I am assuming this could work in a similar way to how the image is swapped out, but I have no idea how to do this. I have also disabled the click on the main image as I want everything on the one page.

Can anyone help?

Don't worry about this one now. I have ended up using Ignite Gallery which offers this feature out of the box. It also has a nice javascript scroller for the thumbnails.

I still think Phoca Gallery is a great component, but unfortunately it didn't quite offer everything I needed for this project (well, not with my limited Javascript/PHP skills anyway!! )
