Gallery view page counter

I am having a problem with the pagination view, I don't know if it is meant to go like this but all the page numbers are listed vertically rather than horizontally and it takes up extra space, I am using version 2.7.8 in Joomla 1.5. You can see what I meant here:

Hi,
try to check it with a joomla v1.5 standart template like rhuk-milkyway.

Thanks but hours of work have gone into the template so I'd rather live with the formatting than change to a basic template.
