I get the following message "Element not defined for type = phocaguestbookemail" in the list of parameters. I think the biggest problem is about 80 cm in front of the monitor.

thanks for help

Hi Jan,
i have problems to get an EMail after a new entry in the guestbook was made. i 've read the further threats how to aktivate the Email funktion. But i don't understand how to set the EMail adress to wich the message should be sendet. In the parameters of the Menu the errormessage from above is shown. I think i made a mistake but i can't imagin wich.

thanks for your patience

Did you set the email address into Parameters Component (menu link to guestbook)

see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla

Did you get some error message (like smtp doesn't work)? Does your template display the system messages (like you have been logged, error messages in the front, etc.)

In the parameters field where to fill in the EMail adress the Message: "Element not defined for type = phocaguestbookemail" appears. So i'm not able to fill in my EMail Adress.

I have found the reason for the problems. I downloaded the guestbook version 1.0.3 from joomla.de. This seems to be another file as the file from your download area. With the old file the language does not work and I 've had the problems with the EMail funktion. After downloading your file and updating on my server the guestbook has the right language and the EMail function is available.

Thank you for the great program and your patience
