Feature to hide file URLs?

I've been told that Phoca Gallery will support what we need, but I can't find any documentation that describes this. Can you confirm whether this (or perhaps some other) component will do what we're after?

We want to embed images and streaming videos within a Joomla page. But, we want to make it so nobody can access those video or image files directly through the URL/path to the files.

For example...a page with this video streaming on it:

/joomla_dir/images/phocagallery/myvideo.mov

could not be found or viewed if you point your browser to:

www.mysite/images/phocagallery/myvideo.mov

So...does Phoca Gallery support this? Does Phoca Documents? or any other Phoca component?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, e.g. Phoca Download allows it, you can set downloading of files. The files will be stored outside puplic_html folder, and you will set two kind of files - one for download (e.g. for registered) and second for preview (e.g. for public)
