Hi there.

I use the phoca gallery in combination with picasa. Everything works fine, but every time when i load the category new, the names of the images changes to the file name which is stored in picasa. so i have to go to images and change the name.

Is there any possibility to keep the names of images which are already saved by phoca?

For example i have an album in picasa with 3 images, they are in the phoca category and i renamed then under images.
Now i upload 2 more images to picasa, i load the category new, so that all 5 images are on the homepage, but now all 5 images have the name of picasa. Can i load them in another way on the homepage to keep the name or is there another solution?

Sorry if i write a little bit complicated, but my native language is german.

Edit: Sorry i forgot to write I use Joomla 1.5.22 and Phoca Gallery 2.7.6. If this matters.

So there is no chance to change this?

Hi, no, this is a feature, the names, and other settings should be set in Picasa, Phoca Gallery updates everytime the values from Picasa ... this is because Phoca Gallery will everytime update the data stored on Picasa album.

Thank you for the response but the phoca gallery takes always the filename not the image name. Although i change the name of the image in the windows explorer or in picasa it takes the filename?

Hmm, no idea what can be wrong there, Phoca Gallery takes the title tag from Picasa feed?

Ok now i have found the problem. Phoca save the Picasa title under description. Don´t ask me why, i have searched Picasa if i can change that, but i didn´t found anything.

I have changed now the settings so i show only the description of the image without title.

Hi, not sure why it should to this, I will do some more tests?
