My problem is I use some of the same categories threaded under other categories.
EX INSTRUCTIONS -> 1 -2 ADVERTISEMENTS -> 1 -2


SO when a user goes to upload and pick a CATEGORY there are two 1 and 2? They have no idea where to put the file. If they are trying to UPLOAD to instructions they could be uploading to #1 in advertisements.

How can I fix this?

Hi, sorry I don't understand, just set in administration, which category user can upload into. Then only this category will be displayed in frontend upload.
