Install was sucessful after I built the tables manually. Im using Joomla 1.6

After tryng to insert a the plugin into a menu link to list the files in a category everything displays fine except no files are showing. I checked all settings and permissions. I cannot figure out why none of the files are displaying. Any ideas??
Please help.

hmmm, no idea there, try to check all the settings - access, authorized, published, language, access of file, access of category, access of menu link
