I have been through all of the settings and permissions and still can't figure it out. I am able to log in to my front end and upload images, delete images, authorize and publish images but I only see the tab for uploading in the ucp. How to I see the other tabs, users, categories, etc...?

I think i know what you are talking about and what you are trying to find is not part of the upload area, it is a different menu item. I was able to upload and delete etc but could not find the category and sub category views.

If you create a new menu, then "menu item type" you will see the phoca gallery section, under that is the "user control panel".....
