I have a Joomla 1.5 installation running with Phoca Guestbook 1.4.4
For some reason the pagination is not showing on the front-end component. I tried all settings for both component parameters and menu parameters, but nothing seems to work...

I found an earlier topic about this issue, but it wasn't helping really...:

My current settings are:

component parameters:

Pagination Default Value: 5
Pagination: 5,10,15,20,50
Pagination - Hide All Value: YES

menu parameters:

Pagination Default Value: <blank>
Pagination: <blank>
Pagination - Hide All Value: Use global

as I wrote in the post you found, you have to enable pagination in: backend --> Your Menu with link to Phoca Guestbook Component --> Your link to Phoca Guestbook Component --> Menu Item: [ Edit ] --> Parameters (Basic) -->
Pagination=Show
Display Select=Show
Save your settings!

Yep... I already double checked that, of course. I have these parameters set correctly.

Are the developers of this component active on this forum?

There must be somebody who can help me a bit further than 'check your settings'

I tried multiple templates, but they all have the same result: no pagination...

Hi, is this some kind of humour?

Can I see the site where this occurs (with e.g. admin login in PM)?

I have no problems with pagination when I use it on sites default language, but as soon as I change language on my site i use Joom!fish to another language the pagination dissapears tho it still has the same settings active. Do I need to do anything special for this to work ?

Edit: Got it working, standard value for paging on my standard language was set right but not on the second language! So make sure u have the value set on second language if u want it to work

That was no joke. I didn't mean it in a cynical way. I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if there were any developers around, willing to take a look at my issue. So no hard feelings
