Phoca Download And Wampserver/Joomla Install

Good day

I have a fresh install of wampserver, with joomla 1.5.22 Full Package and the omnicron template from rocketheme.

I have also installed the phoca download and everything works fine, components modules etc, except only when I am trying to download a file I have an error like this "Error while downloading file".

I have all set to public and add an test user and the access rights are from all registered users.
One think I have mentioned, is that is phoca users, I have not users!


Any help is appreciated

Hi, there are no phoca users, Phoca Download uses standard Joomla! users, only users who have uploaded a file to Phoca Download, are displayed in Users list in Phoca Download.

Check if e.g. the mime type is ok of the file, check if permissions is public - for the category, for the section, for the menu link.

Actually I have managed to to work this. My settings was wrong. After a detailed documentation read have found what went wrong. Nothing special, proper settings and everything works fine.
