Stickies for obvious questions.

Perhaps creating a sticky at the top section of the forum for most obvious questions would help.
Example:
Sticky - How to Install
- How to Upgrade
That way one does not spend so much time searching and asking and waiting. That would make it a quick way to find out how to "Update" an existing component (Phoca Download) to the latest release and not make any mistakes and destroy the database structure.
Example:
How to Install: 1)Login to Joomla Administration backend.
2) Select Install/Uninstall
3) Browse to component
4) Click Upload/Install
How to Upgrade: Instructions on how to upgrade and anything we should be aware of or lookout for.
At this point I "think" I understand NOT to uninstall the component, but to do a regular install over the old release and then select upgrade? But where will this "Upgrade" button appear in the processs. I need to upgrade from 1.2.2 to the latest release. Will installing over the old release upgrade it without any issues? Will the database structure be corrupt because of the difference is versions? BTW.. I do have a backup so that is not an issue. I just would hate to have to go back and use them (time).
Thankyou,
RocTx
