Hide form not working (Artisteer template)
Posted: 23 Feb 2011, 04:17
Hello,
First, I really like this guestbook, and the many configurable captcha options too. I was specifically attracted by the option to hide the form for posts. However, this does not work.
I saw an earlier post about this, but it had a different reason and is now labeled [solved]. So I presume you are not really lokking there anymore. In that post, somebody mentioned the 'hide form' option not working and he was using an Artisteer template. You suggested to talk to the Artisteer people.
I have the same issue: It is not working in my Artisteer template. For the other person it did work in the default templates, but for me, it still doesn't work if I switch to Beez, Purity or Rhuk template.
I would really like to ask you to take a look at this, since the Artisteer program is gaining fast in popularity. Since the program is intended for template design for 6 or so different platforms, it will be very difficult to convince the Artisteer people to change something just to connect to one component. And yes, it is a complicated but very versatile program.
Many other components and modules, also with open/close attributes work just fine in an Artisteer template.
if you would like to have a look, you can find my site (with Phoca guestbook) here:

I hope you can have a look, and possibly come up with a solution?
kind regards,
