I am having a hard time getting the play button to work properly. when you click on the button it brings up the box, but nothing plays. a wheel spins like it's loading something but it never loads. also i have scrollbars on the window that i can't get rid of.

Re-compress them to MP3, Joint-Stereo, 64kbps with CDEX. Even I on 10mbps dedicated optical connection have to wait ages to buffer such file. No idea to what kind of ppl is dedicated this site, but nova days US residents use no more then 1 to 5mbps DSL connections - ages to hear or even download your words.
In EU - highest speed is here (Bulgaria), where 50mbps is sold for 10 euro, in France max speed is 5mbps for 20-40 EURO.

The play on files should be 32 or 64kbps, the download files can be and 320kbps. Since it's only voice, they can hear u and without being in Hi-Fi

You Adobe Audition or something to eliminate the long pauses to rise the voice level and then to convert it with CDEX from raw WAV.

Down-rate "How far is too far " to 32kbps and add it as optional link, even without cutting off the pauses.

ok, that all makes sense. but i was working with my old setup. i had to move our website because it crashed. so i created a new folder and a new template. i imported the phocadownloads into the new database. eversince the import the play hasn't worked. the play button worked before the import on the old site with the same setup. does that make any sense?

File paths are different.

is there a way to change that in mass
