Error with 3.0 RC3 and Joomla 1.6 (Uploading photos frontend

Hello,

I'm testing uploading photos in frontend, and I have configured a gallery with all registered users can upload photo, but when I go to do it shows this message:

* User Folder Not Defined

EDIT: Also I look that if I select that only registered users can upload photos. If i go to frontend, it shows enabled uploader form. I think that it needs to be disabled or with a message that only registered users can upload photos.

Many thanks!

Hi, you need to define user Folder, if you want users can upload e.g. in category view, see:

https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ser-upload

Hi Jan!

Many thanks now I can upload photos in every category view.

But I look that other problem you don't understand me (Also I don't speak correctly.)

I say that now in category view appears upload form forever (when I access with my account or when i access with public session). Forever appears upload form, and if I try to upload a image with public session in thows this message:

Code: Select all

        * Error while saving item
I think that will be more friendly and accessible that if you access in public sesion it shows a message that only registered users can upload images and form upload must disabled.

Many thanks!

Hi, I will take a look at it. The form should be displayed only in case you have upload rights.
