Is it possible to use thumbnails of different size for different categories of phoca gallery?

So nobody here can answer my question?

Yes you can!
Each time you want another size, you have to
1. change to thumbnail-size-setting to the appropriate size
2. upload the pictures and let automatic thumbmail creation do its work, which then leads to the wanted size

Be sure to "reset" the size to normal values for next uplaods

If you want to add extra pictures into a catagory which had different size, you have to set that size again first in the settings before adding the pictures.

Afterwards changing thumbnails is also possible by removing then from the filesystem and let them regenerate with your desired size.

A bit of work, but do-able I think.
