in my guestbook I set capture only the TTF. all other capture do not work. There is another setting somewhere

Hi, check to set method of displayed image: from JHTML to JROUTE or reverse. But really no idea the TTF captcha is only one which do mostly the problems (ass ttf support is not activated on hosting). Both other methods - standard captcha or match captcha use standard GD fonts which is in fact no problematic
