Hi all,

I have a problem using the Captcha image on my website's phoca guestbook. It isn't displaying a captcha image at all. I'm not sure since when it was not working so I tried a lot of hints and solutions found on the web. I also tried various settings in the phoca administration page. The last thing I tried is reinstalling the Phoca Guestbook component but it didn't help either. I checked the php settings for the GD library and it says that GD support is enabled. I wonder if any of you has any idea how to solve this problem.

did you try to switch the Captcha Displaying Method?
In my case only JHTML shows the captcha.

did you check this in the Menu Parameters Component too?

I checked the menu parameters but alle settings were set to "Use global". I tried to set the captcha parameters in the menu to JRoute an JHTML but both wthout any luck...

I have the same problem. Tried all settings, but still show just the placeholder word, instead of the actual image. Not sure how to fix this. Have to get the captcha down (thus opening the guestbook) to make it work.

Any ideas?

site removed > contact > guestbook

Seems the link to the image it self isn't where/how it should be. Any idea how I can fix this?
