is it possible to get a combo box like menu

Hi, sorry I don't understand, which extensions you mean.

Generally, there is no combo box feature in html, but can be imitated by javascript - see the Position field in Module settings (can be difficult to display it correct in some browsers)

i mean like the drop down menu at the administration end where you have to click the box to bring out all the categories. but i'll like the menu to list the the category subcategories when in a particular category instead of list all the categories in the whole gallery

Hi, I think this is not possible or maybe some difficult solution can be made by javascript but no experiences there
