Unable to edit category descriptions

I seem to be unable to edit any category information. Descriptions, names or anything. When I click on Save or Apply it seems like it works, but it reverts back to the original information. Also, when I create new categories, it pulls the description from another category (which I'm then unable to change.)

Hi, maybe you should check your Joomla! installation or Phoca Gallery installation if it includes all the files, and was correctly installed (try to re-upgrade, etc.) Maybe some file or some javascript is missing, etc.

Downgrading to 2.6.2 resolves the issue, but then I'm stuck on that version. Upgrading to 2.7.X seems to break it again.
