Virtuemart Mac and euro

Hi there,

I installed Phoca PDF for Virtuemart. I chose font Helvetica and all works fine for printing from a PC. But when we try
to print (invoice or receipt) from a MAC, the euro-signs are not shown (all other signs incl. ü,ä etc.) come out fine.
Any idea? Is this a font problem?
Is there a possibility to include the fonts directly?

Thanks Petra

Hi, helvetica means, the font will be not included in the pdf and it is depending on pc fonts. So you should add some other font in plugin paramaters (which means, such font will be added to the pdf and the pdf document will be not depending on the OS fonts, but the size of this document will be larger)

Hello Jan,
thanks for your reply. According to your suggestion I installed a pdf font (free sans).
Now the Euro-sign appears on the Mac but all blanks are replaced by "!". How can that happen?

thanks Petra
