Hi there,

I really like Phoca Gallery and use it manifold on my homepage (http://artonphoto.ch).
I also like Adobe Lightroom for managing all of my photos. Therefore Id' like to program a Lightroom Export Plugin. For that purpose I need a Phoca Gallery API to manage images in Phoca Gallery. In particular I’m looking for an API for
- creating a new category in Phoca Gallery
- upload a new image and setting some basics attributes (name and description)

Is there already an API accessible by web I can use (XML-RPC?)? Or any idea how I can implement such an API?

Hi, for now there is no such API, but you can look at the code how this is solved for Google Picasa, In fact Google Picasa use the same way, software on your PC to manage and modify photos and load the to server, etc.
