Hi I was wondering if you'd consider using html5 based mp3/aac audio playback for the phoca download component?
Something along the lines of
http://joomline.ru/en/extensions/module ... ayer-.html
It would mean having file back compatible with flash free mobile devices (_ _), which would be awesome, especially the ability to embed in articles.
Thank you for such a great component

I'm not sure if the new version (joomline mp3 player 2.0) is GPL, but the old version (joomline mp3 player) is definitely GPL, to be honest i think the old version works better and it works flawlessly on my i Phone which would make it super appealing the free download and online demo is available on this page, also says its GPL, its a russian site but google translate works fine

If you could recreate it to use phoca download files in articles that would be amazing.

Ok, found, it is a jplayer, the problem can be, it is working with jquery, which can have problems with modal box (if modal box is used on the site)
I will take a look at it, added to feature request list.

Still not, now all the extensions needs to be overwritten to 1.6 framework and then then new features can be added.
