I have a joomla site with phocagallery installed.
When I try and create the thumnails to be displayed it will create some thumnails but then fails.
It just sits there saying "stop thumbnail creation". So you click it and it turns off thumnail creation. So I turn back on and try again...
I've read load of similar problems and tried all their solutions(most don't notice thumnail creation is turned off).

I have tried uploading different sized images, deleting all thumbs folders and re-creating, re-installing phoca, checked folder & file permissions and setting to 777, only uploading a couple of files, reducing the filesize down to 60kb... I've even tried deleting all the images from a folder that works and uploaded different images into those folders but it still fails!
The wierd thing is that this all worked on another site with exactly the same setup? I've duplicated the site and improved it on another host(not moved - actually recreated from scratch) but I'm sure the setup is ok - see below.

Hi, seems like the script is stopped by some fatal error, so you need to enable php error reporting to see what happened there, see:

Update for the many other sufferers!
I found that by shrinking all my images to below 200k the thumbnail recreation works again.
Most of my images were 1mb-2mb so I decided to try shrinking ALL the images and re upload.
You'd expect Phoca to skip a problem file and move onto another but I think it just halts. This is probably why some of my image thumbs were create dand some not? Shame it took days of playing around to find a workaround!!!

I Still have a problem with my menu being hidden by Phoca gallery and Navigation buttons have dissapeared so if anyone can throw some light on those problems I'd appreciate it.
