Yes, but you must code it (in html or php), there is no such a function (maybe you can call the categories as users or you can write the name of author into the description...

I think what most people want is a function that allows changing the component parameters in order to show or disable the author’s name.
It will be great if you can do that.

In the last version (2.5.4) I saw there was no fonctionality to display author's image but this is a crucial point for me. When do you think this fonctionality will be available ? Do you know if a plugin can do it or a tutorial explaining modification code ?

Furthemore it would be nice if gallery integrated filter in order to display for example most recently images uploaded or images by authors...
