Hi,

I have read https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... ser-upload
however, I am still unable to get the Front End user area working. My user has SuperAdmin privileges, and I have the following settings:

User Control Panel Settings

Enable User Control Panel YES
Enable Avatar Uploading No
Enable Avatar Authorization No
Enable User Category Authorization No
Enable User Subcategory Authorization Yes
Maximum Count of Subcategories 5
Maximum Category Description Characters 1000

Upload Settings

Enable User Upload Image Authorization No
Maximum Description Characters 1000
Maximum Upload Size (in bytes - front, admin upload) 3145728
Maximum Resolution - Width 3072
Maximum Resolution - Height 2304
Maximum Size of all User's Images 20971520

Enable Java Uploader YES
Enable Java Upload in Administration NO

Do I NEED to use the Java uploader?

Thanks
Geoff

Hi, what you mean with:
"I am still unable to get the Front End user area working"
Be aware, in frontend all users are taken as they are, so e.g. the super administrator needs to have the same rights (upload, access, etc. ) like other users.

Thanks Jan, but I don't really understand what you mean.

Hi, depends on it, what you want to do in frontend. In frontend, you don't have the same function like in backend (if you are logged in as administrator), so you cannot manage e.g. images of other users, etc. in frontend.

Ok thanks Jan. That won't be a problem, I hope.
