Hi

The Category Layout view is displaying medium thumbnails instead of the small thumbnails that I have selected. I have verified that it is displaying the images phoca_thumb_m_X_XX-X.jpg

I have selected "small" for "Image Size Beside Category Name" under "Categories View Settings (List of Categories)" in both the global parameters and the menu item component parameters.

I have selected "small" for "Image Size Beside Category Name" under "Category View Settings (Categories above Images)" in both the global parameters and the menu item component parameters.

I have set everything to display in four columns, equal percentage column width, 25% width.

Images and Windows Size Settings are

• Large: 720x480
  Medium:360x240
  Small:120x80

I have deleted the thumbnails and recreated them.

I have cleared my browser cache.

I have installed the patch to remove the footer logo. (In case that may be related)

I've read the user manual and searched the forum. I have no idea why this would not work the way (I think) it is supposed to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

there must be a wrong value in your settings... all the different options are a bit confusing, but please checkt them again. step by step, using this article in the documentation as a guide.

edit: also as a start, set all parameters in the menu links to global. and use only the ones in global configuration to "play around".

I really appreciate your help. I tried what you suggested, but it did not work. I deleted and recreated the menu link to the category view and left the menu settings at the default. Perhaps I am misunderstanding something in the documentation?

Here are mys settings that (I think) would affect the category view.

I'm beginning to think that this feature that doesn't exist. Does anyone else have Phoca Gallery working with small thumbnails for the category list view and category view? If so, could you please post a link because I'm incredulous.

I've uninstalled Phoca and its plugins twice and just did a fresh install of Joomla, followed by a fresh install of Phoca and it still it doesn't seem to work. It seems that the use of medium thumbnails is hard coded.

This is hurting.

Category View will always display medium thumbnails (there is no option to display small thumbnails except you will customize the php/html code)
