Image download doesn't work with Picasa

Hi,
I use Phoca Gallery only with Picasa images. When I click on 'Download Image' button under a thumbnail, internet browser says 'Cancelled' or 0 bytes file size is saved.
Download option in Preferences is chosen 'Show (direct download)'. I would rather use this method not through saving via right-click menu in a lightbox... Is this a bug? Any idea?
Tested on Opera 10, Firefox 3.6 and Chrome.
Joomla 1.5.20 and Phoca G. 2.7.3 without addons

Sorry for inconvenience, there was a massive hacker attack for my server.
Now it should work fine.

Hi, try to search this forum, there should be a topic with similar problem (it is cca half year ago we have discussed such problem).

I have the same problem and couldn't find the topic you're talking about... Did anybody find a solution?
Please note that I also had the following problem:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10364
This may be a clue in finding why I'm also in trouble with image download.

Hi, I see, seems like there is some problem on server, so the server cannot give an information about the downloading external image, maybe some permissions or ownership problems
The solution (for now
) is maybe not setting up the direct download

Setting "allow_url_fopen = On" in php.ini files makes it work...
In Phoca Gallery Info I previously had:
PHP Settings Parameter allow_url_fopen (Needs not to be enabled if cURL functions are enabled) -> Disabled
Function cURL (Needs not to be enabled if allow_url_fopen is enabled) -> Enabled
and now:
PHP Settings Parameter allow_url_fopen (Needs not to be enabled if cURL functions are enabled) -> Enabled
