Hi, because of security reasons the text only can be added in frontend :-(

So this needs to be customized in the code (change the standard text area to editor). But then I will recommend to use some library like HTML purifier is (which is used for the Phoca Guestbook) to secure input included tags.

Hi jan

Do I understand your answer here right, that it is not possible for frontend users to edit the category text description above the images?

Like in joomla articles, if a user is logged ind, there is a small icon with paper and a pencil, and then the user can edit the text in the article. Isn't there any possibility for the same option in phoca gallery for authorized users in the frontend? It would be very nice, if I could allow a frontend user to edit the category description and maybe also the meta tags

Best regards from Denmark

Hi, users can edit title and description in UCP but not use the editor features (html)
