Upgrade of language files

I want to upgrade my Phoca Gallery from 2.2.4 to 2.7.4 version. I want to do it simply in Extensions of Joolmla 1.5.9 version. The way how to do it has been described in documentation, but there is no one word how to upgrade language files. I am interested in how to do it with polish language files.

The current Polish translation for Phoca Gallery contains an install.xml file, which means this language pack can be installed with the Language Manager.
