Greetings,

i had some problems with the watermark.
I installed com_phocagallery_v2.7.3.zip, there was no problem.
I created a category > no problem.
I uploaded some images in this category > no problem.
I created a menu for this category > no problem.
The gallery is ok. I see it perfectly.

But when i want to create the watermarks, none of them is created.
My watermark images are named "watermark-large.png" and "watermark-medium.png", there are in .../images/phocagallery.
the settings are Yes(Root), Middle, Center.

I try everything :
uninstall/reinstall phocagallery
install plg_content_phocagallery_2.7.2.zip
change the watermark size

i seek i seek, but i didn't find the problem..

joomla version : Joomla! 1.5.15 Stable
php version : 5.3.1

I uploaded some images in this category > no problem.

I´m not sure, do you know that the thumbs get watermarked during thumbnail creation process? So, if you want to have watermarks in your thumbs you have to delete them and create them new.

Yes i understood that the images displayed are in images/phocagallery/thumbs. I deleted them and recreated them but the watermarks never appeared..

i'm sure i forgot to do something but i don't know what..

Hi Kelem,
every step you discribed in your first post is completely correct, therefore I do not see a reason why it does not work.
One more idea:
Which detail view do you use? If you use "Highslide JS (Image Only)" there is the option "Highslide Full Image"
If this option is set to "Yes" you see the original pictures not the thumbs and the original pictures couldn`t have watermarks...

I didn't change any settings except "watermarks settings".. but even if this detail view is wrong, in images/phocagallery/thumbs, my images should be watermarked.. and they are not..

i tried to change this detail view setting but, it's still the same (even if i create new thumbs)..

perhaps it's my watermark image :



(in my folder, it's well named "watermark-large.png")

i don't understand..
my way :
install com_phocagallery_v2.7.3.zip
create a category
upload images and watermark with "multiple add"
create a menu link: phoca gallery > category
set watermark YES
delete the thumbs in windows
recreate the thumbs

i don't make mistake?

if i don't, what a pity, i will make my watermarks manually with gimp..

upload images and watermark with "multiple add"

Perhaps it`s only a path problem?
If you copy the watermarks and the images in the same category (that means the same folder too) you have to choose:
Parameters --> Watermark Settings -->
Create Watermark=Yes (Folder)

i tried every watermark settings, changed the watermark position.. watermark is never created on thumbs..

i made my watermark with gimp.. it's longer but i can choose the transparency of the watermark..
