No matter what I do in preferences I can't get the image description font size & color to change. I've reviewed the three files used to control this:
Front-end:
\views\phocagalleryd\views.html.php
\views\phocagalleryd\tmpl\default.php

Admin:
\com_phocagallery\config.xml

Everything appears to be in order and short of hard coding what I need into the default.php file I'm at a loss. These issues appear in IE7 & Firefox2, Joomla RC3

The really odd thing is that some of the params work like "Display Description" but the others don't.

NVM - Figured it out. The global settings in the component don't have any effect on items that set a size or color. To make these changes you must edit them in the component settings when managing the menu item the gallery is attached to since these override everything and global options aren't available.

... Yes if you set default settings, menu settings override this settings - this is a joomla framework...
