I'm use version 2.6. I there way to automatically authorise the images when uploaded from tne front end

Hi wayne, if I understand, you want that your users upload images and automatically the images will be avaliable to see, whit out admin aproval.

If this is correct, you only need to chech in the settings configuration, the section called "Upload Settings" and change the option of "Enable User Upload Image Authorization"(is in the middle part) to No.

This way your user can upload photos and they can see it inmediatly.

I have the same problem, but setting this to either "Yes" or "No" in the Phoca Gallery Parameters Setting doesn't seem to have any effect. User uploaded photos remain "Unauthorised".

Any suggestions ?

Sorry to be stupid ...

Sorry, false alarm. This is now working OK although I 'm not sure why. I found the same patameter settings within the Phoca item in Menu Manager and suspect that this did the trick. Lot of fiddling about though.... Mabe I was frustrated by Browser cache -ing and slow response from my "localhost " IIS web server.
