Category is not published

I have installed the gallery, set up a category and uploaded a couple of pictures.
Everything is published, nevertheless i got many "Category is not published" in a column and an error page when selected the gallery.

Have I done somthing wrong?

I found the error!
I had o publish the category in the menu item. Was not so clear and obvious to know that.
But now everything works fine.
