if there is a way to move the pictures off to a folder that is not seen by the 'multiple add' window after they are published, that would be great.
Hi, in multiple add window you can see the images stored on your server, you cannot move it, these are files on your server with your own tree structure, this cannot be handled by any software... the same like your file manager can display the files on your pc, there is no way to display them some other way ...

are you trying to reduce the amount of images that load when you ar eon the backedn looking at the "images or gallery" screen...?
this is so easy to solve
just create a category and dont put anything in it
dont publish it either
as soon as you navigate to the images list
use the drop down menu on the top right to navigate to this empty cat
then it wont load 5 million images on the screen.
when you return to the images screen after doing some updating or maint.
this cat will be the one that always shows.
or if you are worried about the loading of a giant list during multiple add, just create your structure of folders like this
images/phocagalley/maincat/subcat_1 with the images
images/phocagalley/maincat/subcat_2 with the images
images/phocagalley/maincat/subcat_3 with the images
maybe that helped...?
