Hi Jacques,

I add manually in the database in xxxx_phocagallery table one of the pics of my previous (this morning) multiple add and it works, the thumnail was created and the pic appears at the right place

Hmm, I never added via database ....
So now I'd like to know why when I'm using your protocole
what do you mean with: "protocole"?
could you find an answer, a new way to proceed may be?

To be sure:
In your post from 13feb, there is a not working URL with path: ...
/home/joomla/images/phocagallery/.....
Check correct path.
Check also:
Kind regards
Christine

Hi Christine,
By protocole I mean,
the different steps to add /multiple add images in PG to be sure I'm not missing something
What I like to know is: when the PG table is updated with the new images?
as I wrote yesterday it'seems to be the problem. No writing in the table.
It's why I tried to manually add a row as It should have been done by Phoca during the multiple add.
But may be I'm completly wrong!
I checked the thumnail generation. It's correct as you showed in your previous reply.

Hi, items are added to database when you click on save of item or on save of selected files in multiple add view. Not when image is uploaded.

Hi Jan,
thank you.
[Hi, items are added to database when you click on save of item or on save of selected files in multiple add view. Not when image is uploaded.
it's what I guessed
But after uploaded the file
I get the message "one file uploaded" --> I click on Save &Close
and I get the Message "Select Filename or Folder"
If I upload 2 or 3 files it's the same.
What did I miss?

Hi,
Categories > Images > Select category > Multiple Add > Upload your images.
When finished (to create thumbnails) then:
BlackJack wrote: ↑28 Feb 2020, 11:43
and I get the Message "Select Filename or Folder"
I took just 1 screenshot from you, as example: select: eventi > eventi 2019 > then see above [1. screenshot] for the files.
Kind regards

The problem is when I get to the last folder of the tree in this exemple
Path: /web/htdocs/
www.apj.it/home/joomla/images/phocagall ... l/Giovanni Guidi Quintet
(but it's excatly the same for every folder I checked, in eventi and in artisti.)
instead of opening the folder as it does in the past I get back to the root of the tree
Artisti
eventi
avatars
So I can't choose the files in the folder.
Permissions of the files are 0644 permissions of the folder are 0755.
if it's not permissions what can it be.
in Options:
Maximal Count Of Subcategories is set to 6 just to be sure

Hi,
See post from feb26th:
In your post from 13feb, there is a not working URL with path: .../home/joomla/images/phocagallery/.....
For example of an existing image:
http://www.apj.it/joomla/images/phocaga ... %20(1).jpg
Btw: Pls avoid spaces and use lower case letters instead.
Kind regards
Christine

Hi,
Sorry but I don't understand
The path is good and working, may be my copy-paste was wrong but
this one is good.
www.apj.it/joomla/images/phocagallery/E ... 281%29.jpg
what is strange for me is as I wrote in my previous post, the folder contain is not listed in the new PG
https://i.imgur.com/j0601gr.png
as It was in the previous one (sceencap from the beta site)
https://i.imgur.com/mhgzNRt.png
in that case filename are not including space and I can't see the diferrent files of the folder with new PG
kind regards
jacques
