Same problem - whatever I do things don't work after a clean install
all files modded to 777-the modal boxes don't work in the admin zone...you click on the little green arrow-insert I guess- nothing happens.
I insist and upload files the pics get hosted and the thumbnails are created but none display frontend/backend.
whenever I upload a file it says the folder or file doesn't exist OR the folder is not specified.
does it get mad if you have another gallery system already installed on your site...I can't figure out how
I tired safari, chrome, opera, camino, js on/off, flash on/off , nothing changes I don't think it's the os x platform either

Hi, check if the thumbnails have been created on your server - (e.g. via ftp), if yes, check if they can be accessed. Check your GD library too.

you can download the image and view it accordingly. So the front end has the correct url of the image, it just won't display it in the wrapper

hi, image which is assigned to download, is original image, image displayed in the box is thumbnail. So if you can download the original image, this doesn't mean anything, as this is not thumbnail.

Hi, thanks to Jan's suggestions I examine our FTP layer. As it is disable, I switch (according to https://www.phoca.cz/documents/50-phoca/ ... y-settings) the parameter JFile Thumbnail Creation to No and now everything works.

Hello.

I need help. I have been reading through the forums trying various things and none of them have worked. I am not the creator of this site but I maintain it and upload things on to it.

I have been able to upload pictures without issues until this Monday. Now the photos show up in the media manager but they show up blank in the phoca gallery and are blank on the website. The thumbnail creation status is disabled and I have tried enabling it through the parameters and it remains disabled. I have tried everything listed in this thread and others.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

I am having the same problem, the images are viewable in the control panel, but on the live site the boxes do not display the image, but it does display the text (image name)

Anyone have the fix?
