As I stated earlier, there should be a routine that reads the EXIF-Information and writes it into the respective field in the phoca-database/image-information when you import a picture into your library. Additionally, the routine should convert the format of the Geotag from degrees into numbers.

So far, the only way to get a GEO-Tag Icon next to your picture is to manually enter all the coordinates in the image-information.

It would be great if such a routine could make it into the code one day and would greatly enrich my gallery.

wie weit ist denn dieses Feature vorangeschritten. Wäre echt super wenn es diese Funktion gäbe. So erspare ich mir die manuelle Eingabe der ganzen Koordinaten ... gerade bei größeren Kategorien sehr zeitraubend.

Hi, it is still planned. Now all the extensions need to be converted to 1.6 which will take some time (this took 3/4 of year for cca 30% of all extensions I have made ) After this new features will be added.
