me too.
when I search tagged photos, they are not found by joomla search module

Hi, do you mean, that if you add the tag to search (Joomla! search feature), it will not find the image with such tags? If yes, there is no such feature implemented yet in search plugin.
Added to feature request list.

in the previous version (for joomla 2.5) I remember it was working, wasn't it
