additional when activating the debug-function in Joomla! I get the following errors reported:

got the same problem, anybody tried to contact his hoster ?
Mine is "world4you" in Austria, and i am wondering, if the could help ?
and i also tried the thing on my local (mac) server and there it worked fine.(can upload and install it, whereas on the server, I´ve done the upload, but the installation didn´t work)
Hope there is an solution, because I need a guestbook for two different user groups (one registered and one for a spezial group)

Hi, I think you need to ask you webhosting provider.

:: 403 and 404 are not the same errors
:: missing or wrong langauge strings does not influence such features (403 or 404)
:: if somobedy will try to spam the input text field, this will do in the frontend (guestbook form, forum form, etc.) so there is no logical reason to somehow block the admin area (this would be a nonsense - regarding spam see: https://www.phoca.cz/documents/3-phoca-g ... -on-server )

Hi to all,

I phoned with World4You today and they told me, that the Guestbook has been hacked and that they closed it to prevent more damage. Now they opened it and it works again. I will update the Guestbook today to 1.5.3 (now i have 1.4.4).

Maybe "Jan" could tell us, if he knows something else we can do to prevent it for the future.
