Hi, try to see similar posts, the posts were solved. I by myself tested with german and czech language without any problem so really no idea what this does not work for the italian language.
Check if you are using right language file for right version (1.5 vs 2.5)
In 2.5 there are " and _ underscores (instead of spaces)

Hi, Jan!
I've cheated myself. So the problem described here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=20718#p79676
still exists.
I created one guestbook, which language parameter is set to ALL. But still while somebody writes a message from not default web site's language DB accepts language parameter(for example it is ru-RU), and vice versa - when somebody posts from default language - the DB entry receives "*" language param.
I don't have any idea how to fix it... Maybe it's a bug.

I'll answer myself - yes - it's a bug.
To fix it, the line $this->setState('filter.language',$app->getLanguageFilter()); in components/com_phocaguestbook/models/guestbook.php
must be commented
I hope it will be fixed in new minor release

Hello to everyone!
I have a problem with Greek translation in Phoca Guestbook.
When my site was in Joomla 1.5 i downloaded the Greek Translation from the official Joomla extension site. I had a problem then. The translation never worked correctly. I found a translation from another site and it worked fine. Now i made my site in Joomla 2.5. I installed the Phoca Guestbook and everything was ok until i tried to use the Greek translation again. Again the translation doesn't work. Any help?
The zip file seems to be broken or corrupted when i double-click an it. But with 7-zip extractor i can unzip it correctly. I tried everything i read in the forun but nothing seems to help.
Thanks again even for your time to read my post. Keep up the good work.
