Is it necessary to subscribe users within Joomla to send mass emails?

1) With this component, can I send mass emails without having subscribed users within Joomla, or do I need to subscribe users within Joomla with their respective email addresses?

I'm interested in the component, but I don't want to have to manually or automatically register users. I just want to have a mailing list and send a single email to all the emails on the list.

2) How many emails can I send at once, or what is the mass sending capacity?

Hi,

1) there are two functions - one sending to selected users - this is called sending emails, and second - sending newsletters. So if you want to send emails to users who are not subscribed, you can do it in email send.

2) in fact it depends on your server and the email server. The emails are send by one in ajax request, so each email is sent individually, so it depends on your server and email server when the limits will be reached.
