See original image size in detailed view

Post by creative4case »

Hello community,
I'm using Phoca Gallery 5.0.3 on Joomla 5.2.0 and it works correctly with Photoswipe as Detail View layout.

I'm wondering only how I can setup the detailed view (when I click on a thumbnail) to show the images at the original size I uploaded onto my site.
Now all the images are smaller.
I tried with the parameters in the Thumbnails --> Detail Window Width / High but it doen't change anything.
Can you please help me.

Thank you all

Hi, see similar posts. There is large thumbnail for displaying detail images, because of many many reasons (traffic, same size, ...)

When you change the parameters for width and height, you need to recreate thumbnails again.

Hello, thank your for your reply.
Thumbnails recreation was the first things I did after changing the Detail Window Width and the Detail Window High on the Thumbanails section of my Phoca Gallery control panel.
Even deleting the browser cache didn't change anything : (

Hi,

Try following:

a) Options > Thumbnails > Pagination Thumbnails: Yes
b) images > choose category (!)
c) then Recreate Action as in previous screenshot

Maybe you have multiple pages? Then scroll down to the other pages and the thumbnails should start automatically.

Kind regards
Christine

Hello, I tried the process above but it doesn't work as well : (
The images on my FTP are 2000x1305
Detaied thumbnails are 2000x1500
But they are shown as more or less like they were Large Image --> 640x480

I do not have issue to provide the access to the site for checking in private message.
Thanks again for your support

Hi, did you recreate thumbnails after changing the thumbnail parameters in Options?

And did you clear the cache of browser, of website (if it uses cache system). Do you have some link to some thumbnail to check the size?

Hi,
Your screenshot reveals the misunderstanding. You have changed the wrong value, namely the width and height of the detail window, not the width and height of the large thumbnails.

These are your current settings:

And this is what your settings should look like:

After you have changed the values according to image 2, recreate the thumbnails as Jan has described above.

Kind regards,
Benno
