Filter Parent Category ID not working

Hello,

If this parameter is empty i can see all the parent categories.

If i set one (or more) category ID, i don't see anything.

I have tried some parameters modifications seen on the forum, without success.

Starting from scratch, i made more test and here is the result :

Filter Parent Category : the list of the categories belonging to the parent are displayed BUT not the parent ==> i create a new parent (w/o pictures) linked to my existing categories.
And set the global parameter "Categories view Settings / Display Subcategories" to Yes.

One category, without pictures, linked to the selected parent didn't appear ==> set the the global parameter "Categories view Settings / Display Empty Categories" to Yes.

That's it !
